Oh, I guess I have listened to it about 10 times now....... AYE, WOW, disturbing, but I have to agree with a lot of Steve Wilson's lyrics. The last song reminded me a bit of Zeppelin's Kashmir with a Beatles twist. You're absolutely right about that ... this is a very sad and dark album, and it doe...

The New Porcupine Tree Album

Have you guys heard the new PT album, Fear of a Blank Planet? I have to tell you, it's right up there with some of the best albums I've ever heard, including Close to the Edge, Lex Rex, Selling England by the Pound, UK, Paranormal Humidor, Wish You Were Here, and a couple of my other all time favori...

Windows no longer supports the object or embed tag in MSIE's new version. There's a section here on apples web site that explains how to work around it with javascript. http://www.apple.com/quicktime/tutorials/embed.html scroll down to the section that's labeled "Code to Replace" Thanks a million, ...

Any HTML Experts Out There?

Let me start by saying I know not a lick of HTML or any type of programming required to build a robust, interactive webpage/site. Okay, with that out of the way, I created a small promo video that's displayed on the GH homepage (www.glasshammer.com). The video itself works great, but there is a smal...

I Can Now Reveal A Secret

I recently finished the coverart for the re-release of a top secret project that's been out of print for a long time. What is it, you ask? The band is Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe, and the project is An Evening Of Yes Music Plus. After being out of print for more than 10 years, An Evening Of Yes Mu...

One of my favorite bonus tracks is Money (it was actually part of the Yesstories release in the early 90s). It was recorded in the GFTO/Tormato period. The music is great, but what really sets this piece apart is the absolutely hilarious narrative taking place in the background during the whole song...

Fans have long hated the production of Tormato, and rightfully so. The original did sound overly compressed and tinny. However, the Rhino re-master/re-issue sounds pretty darn good. Indeed, Tormato has never sounded so good. While still not perfect, it's lightyears ahead of the original mix and mast...

And don't overlook Tormato. Though seemingly disliked by the majority of Yes fans, I think it's a fantastic album ... especially Future Times/Rejoice, and Arriving UFO. Relayer is a great album, as is The Yes Album, Fragile, and even Drama (the one album without Jon Anderson at the helm). Some of th...
