You know, a few days ago i would've agreed with everyone here in regards to curling. But since both the men's and women's teams are from the great state of Minnesota, i figured i needed to at least learn how the heck it works (ok, i admit i also thought the Johnson sisters were cute). Ever since the...

Ha, i didn't even notice that my babe comment got quoted by yyzmoose. And for the record, i was just going off the marital status of "single" on her ghfan.net bio.

And i'm not even going to touch the "creepy stalker" thing. I think my girlfriend just might have a problem with that. :)

No way! I just noticed this thread for the first time and was pretty surprised to see PFR mentioned! They came out of the church i grew up going to and i used to hang with all those guys. In fact, Joel Hanson used to be my guitar teacher back in junior high and high school and my mom gave him voice ...

Classic quote from that CCO article...
"Just because I bite somebody, it doesn't make them a vampire," Sharkey said. "It doesn't make them evil, and they're not going to be like -- hiss-s-s! -- all over the place. I mean, let's be real here."

So is Walter really not in this one? I can't imagine Run Lisette or Knight of the North without his vocals. Who does them instead?

Funny, when i said in another thread that i'd love to take Bethany out for drinks if GH ever came to Minneapolis, i didn't realize that she wasn't legal at the time! :)

I noticed there was no Walter listed on the side. Was the concert during his recovery? That would be a major bummer!

Comment about this album

I just listened to this for the first time around a week ago and i've probably listened to it a dozen times since. Definitely a quality live album. If only we could've had a DVD of this show too! One comment i wanted to make, i always love the passages with just Susie and Walter harmonizing. They're...

So based on what you said, john, i may get more into "Be" since i tend to dig (heavier) guitar-oriented stuff. My other tastes include being a huge Dream Theater fan and i also really like Spock's Beard, King's X, Rush, etc. Of course, i do like "non-prog" type stuff like Joe Satriani and i recently...
