I was wondering which of all the bass guitars that Steve owns would he consider his favourite ?
Also which have made the most contributions on GH cds.

Thanks for the heads up , given all that happened the end result takes on a different meaning.
I think you did well to produce what you did and the sound more than compensates , drive failures don't help either.

The DVD arrived yesterday and I watched the show last night , excellent show and the audio mix was top notch especially the creative use of the rear channels. One of the first highlights of the show was the guitar pieces that now appear to have more of the mix share than previous. The SSOTS ending w...

Yesterday I watched a DVD of one of the German gigs from June . It was borrowed from a friend at work who said that it had been downloaded from somewhere so I wasn't expecting much . Having seen the entire gig I believe I made the right decision in not going to see them live. I realise that the set ...

If it sounds good I play it , life is too short to be analysing pieces of music in that way.
My ears are the only critic I respond to and they have served me well so far.
Everyone is influenced by their environment , musicians are no different in my eyes.

It has most of the things I look for in music that I listen to these days and is over before you know it , as sign of excellence in my book 8)
The compilation CD is ace also .
Well done guys :D

I love both the Karmakanic CDs , I bought them as a matter of course and will buy the next 8) I saw the Yes Reunion tour in the round and thought the show was amazing , though looking back at the DVD from the Denver show I'm amazed they pulled it off given the selection of material on offer. I think...

I think Zoltan can be likened to Bill Bruford , he likes to move around after a while with any one band . His style of drumming requires a band that is free in rhythmic direction to a degree and if he does play with KC I would be very interested in the result. Having said that he and Jonas make a fa...

The new one from the Flower Kings is great , along with GH they and Porcupine Tree seem to be all I listen to these days , as well as the odd trip into the seventies stuff.
Zoltan the drummer is back for the album and it shows they are a better band with when he is there 8)

The new CD arrived yesterday along with the compilation disc I ordered :D The first play last night was excellent and I am sure that this time next week it will be twice as excellent , it usually takes a few plays before new material finds it's niche with me . The compilation CD is also a must own ,...

Good album , gets better the more I hear it . Stand out track for me is Anesthetize there's a Alex Lifeson solo which is easily picked out of the epic piece. I like the direction the band has moved in over the last few years the last four CDs of theirs have made their way on my CD player quite alot ...

My favourite track at the moment if Faithless , I wish also that Malignant Narcissism could have gone a little further especially Geddy's bass playing . Kind of reminded me of a John Paul Jones track called Zooma if I remember 8) . I enjoyed Vapor Trails but this album is more in the Rush groove and...
