That is indeed a cheesy title. If it fills seats though, I guess. I can just imagine if I get to see them and the fans who will be screaming "whoooo, Close to the edge...and back!!!" as if it were some stunning revelation. Name recognition and all that. All said, silly marketing aside, I would love ...

Zep can be frustrating at times. I agree that Plant has adapted to his loss of range well, but Pagey is just...inconsistent. That 40th Atlantic anniversary gig made me cringe. He seemed on his game with The Black Crowes, but it helps that he had two guitarists helping recreate some of the classics. ...

Genesis- a history is excellent--- as you said, it's fair and balanced and has a lot of great footage. As for Rush---they still have it live...Geddy's voice has gotten stronger since their hiatus a few years back. Still, 2112 seems to be beyond his reach as they tune it down now live. Given their lo...

There's nothing better than working on a song for hours, recording each track with care, mixing said song down and realizing it's someone else's song. I've done this on more occasions than I care to admit. Imagine my shock one day when my "genius" riff was actually a part from Rush's 'Hemispheres'. ...

I saw the Musical Box do 'The Lamb' with encores a few years back. That was a good fix. I just could not sit through 'Invisible Touch', and several others. Wish they'd all get on the same page and do a classic line-up reunion. I like the instrumental stuff I heard from this tour, but the tuning down...

It's hard to believe that he would feel that way, but I think he's being honest, because he's also complimentary and fond of some of the work, if a bit humble. ( Liking Siberian Khatru, but feeling that on 'CttE' they got "lucky") I get the impression that he thought the working process in Yes was t...

Hi everyone! Glad to see a forum that celebrates GH and prog in general. I love all music, but prog is the one which I love the most. As a kid, I was listening to your standard Kiss/Foghat/Ted Nugent stuff (I think I just gave away my approximate age!) and then, through happenstance, I heard 'Watche...

I enjoyed the Union show I have on disc, and I thought that given the amount of people on stage they did it quite well. Bruford, in particular with his experience of working with multi percussionists displayed the most poise and actually attempted to compliment everything they played. He was hysteri...

Zoltan with KC, huh? That would be interesting, but as you've said, him and Jonas are locked in, and seemingly telepathic. As far as Bruford and Squire and White, it took me a while to warm up to White, and he's had some stellar moments with Squire, but it's apples and oranges in terms of playing. Fo...

Hi all. Newbie here. While were on the subject of The Flower Kings, can someone shed some light on whats up with Zoltan? I was thrilled he was back in the group, but now it turns out Pat Mastelotto is touring with them. Great drummer, but I liked what Zotan brought to the group. Any insights? Thanks
