Celtic Woman

Hiya all, I have seen this performance on PBS, and was a fan of the Riverdance, so I thought I would check this out. Last night I went to see this performance in Atlanta's Fox Theater. I must say that it was incredible. None of the dance in Riverdance, but the songs were incredible. Each of the ladi...

I have not heard Neal Morse's new CD yet. I think he is an outstanding musician with a great talent. I do not think that ALL of his music is wonderful, but I give him a big thumbs up for what he is doing. Mr. Morse goes out inspired and does what he wants to do and not what people expect or want him...

Phil Keagy? My concerts run about the same way.... Saw Rush 5 times, but I had a flare for Southern Rock for a while. Saw Lynyrd Skynyrd 5 times if you count Rossington Collins once. Peter Frampton in 77 was my first, but tons too numerous to mention followed. I can honestly say that 2004-2006 has b...

Got me a new puter at work. It does not have surround sound, but I am able to put Perelandra and Shadowlands in and enjoy them without causing a disturbance. A few people stick their head in from time to time to make sure I am doing work..... Just an FYI : You know these new recordings may not be sa...

I have seen Rush 5 times. Saw the Grace Under Pressure, Power Windows, Hold your Fire, Presto, and Counterparts tour. I think I may have seen Signals, but that was a while back and not sure. I missed the last tour because I have not cared for opening acts for Rush, but then found out that they had n...

I like album titles that leave people thinking what it's about, but clearly has no set meaning for any thought process in the music contained. My pics: 1. Corridor of Conundrums 2. Shadows of Light 3. River of Ketchup(I like Ketchup) If you want something for the Rubber Soul, 1. I asked for Tartar S...

I have listened to Porcupine Tree when I have not been listening to lot of my older prog stuff. They sound somewhat like old Pink Floyd on their older tunes IMO. What I am really waiting for is the new GH album, and the DVD. I remember the concert, but I would like to relive it. I just loved it! I h...

I can understand the "funk". The holidays do not always have the cheery time for everyone. I have had issue with the tremedous commercialization of Christmas, and refuse to contribute to the machine. BUT, as far as the time of year itself, I am truly blessed by God to have the family and friends I h...

Perelandra

Hiya, I suppose I could have put this in another thread, but here we go. I recently bought a few GH CD's for some of my family for Christmas that was at the concert. I had heard the music from Perelandra, but I never gave it a good listen. That was one of the CDs I had not owned and thought what the...
