Doing my part to help.
Up late doing the final edits to the spring Issue of NAIRA.
There was just enough room at the end of the Glass Hammer interview to squeeze in a half page column for the Compilation i-tunes album and a teaser ad for the DVD.

I think the best Kansas concert I saw is when they toured with Heart, audio visions tour. Ann and Nancy Wilson came out and did several songs with them on their set and some of the Kansas members sat in on Hearts set. Imagine Steve Walsh and Ann Singing Dog and Butterfly, Dust in the Wind and Carry ...

You just may very well attract the entire former cast and crew of Monty Python's Flying Circus to the site with that line.

Anyone familiar with this analog synth?
And is it the real deal? true analog and not just analog knobs sitting on top of a digital emulation and modeling.

Arpeggiators?

Anyone know if it is still possible to find stand alone, non-software, external arpeggiators for midi -mutli-timbral synths, similar to Oberheim's Cyclone.

and if yes WHERE?!?!

This thread inspired me to once again rediscover Left Overture. Listening to Magnum Opus and the "howling at the moon" passage always gets my attention. I almost wish they would have developed that more into a fuller song. What's On My Mind is my current favorite track on it, I just enjoy the contra...

Should we make a new thread, for English majors only? The math geeks have *their* own thread, after all. Sure, why not? However, given that my recent literary consumption has consisted mostly of manuals, for an oversized recording console, that are so lacking in detail, they leave me in a position ...

Tonight I went to that local Chattanooga Web site forum for independent artists. A site where I often plug the studios web & graphic design services. A site where I often feel the need to drown myself in bleach to get the stench of that site off of me when I leave. I found one "rival" (?, HA!) desig...

I only watch during the opening audition parts, mostly to laugh at the poor, dellusional, misguided souls. It's okay to sing off key as long as you realize you are, and are not deluded into seeing yourself as the second coming of Elvis Lennon Pavorati Paul McPresley the third. Although those ones ar...

 Sweet . . . *the Alien wanders away dreamily to the garage* So now I am envisioning a couple of paramedics standing over Alien face down in a pool of antifreeze having a conversation to the effect of: The ID says the patients name is Alien. So the pool of green stuff leaking out of it's mou...

After careful reconsideration it is quite possible in spite of the effort their physics professor gave them an F, for failing to hook it up to a DeLorean in an attempt to make a Back To The Future style Mr. Fission power source to compete with Mr. Fusion. I mean it is 2006, where are the flying cars...
