http://www.spamusement.com They turn real spam subject lines into cartoons. Josh and I were laughing so hard we were crying as we looked through them all. Here are links to 2 of my favorites: "Guess Who?" http://spamusement.com/index.php/comics/view/257 and "She Can't Possibly Be Enjoying This" htt...

My grandpa's half Irish, but since he's also half Italian, and my grandma's full Italian, the Irish-ness never really gets talked about. The Italian side always overpowers. Seeing as how my other grandparents were also each full Italian, I know how to make almost every Italian dish there is, I know ...

I don't really like any of the girls except maybe Paris and Mandisa. I think there are more talented guys this time. I don't know why Gedeon got voted off before, he was good. Anyway, the girls kind of bore me, cause most of them sound the same to me. My favorites are Taylor, Elliot and the Chris-ro...

I almost clapped outloud for Taylor. I would totally pay to see him. I can't say that about any other contestant that's ever been on the show.

BTW, this is really random, but I had a dream last night that I auditioned for American Idol. I got to through all the stages up until when people actually start voting, but the judges all got mad because I sang a song I wrote and played piano too. I said "Okay, I'll just leave this show then, becau...

I like the Olympics better than the Oscars.

Flo, I'm sorry but your post tonight was just apalling. That may work out in the boonies but if you are to post on this forum every thought must frankly be exceptional and tonight I didn't feel you were giving what it takes to really be in the big leauges. Frankly I can't imagine that I will even r...

American Idol

I've been obsessed every year, except the Rueben/Clay season. Yes, of course it's lame a lot of the time, and it's pop music, but I'm incredibly hooked. Some things I've noticed: 1. Paula must be on drugs. It's like she has a Boggle game full of words instead of letters, and shakes it up before putt...

Now I'm promoting secular music, which to some of my brethren is a sign of backsliding and compromise. Hardly. Not to me, anyway. In fact, the pastor of my church has said (even from the pulpit) that he doesn't listen to Christian Music (or most of it anyway). He and his wife (who is a jazz singer,...

Public Radio is waaaaaaaaay better than Christian radio.
The NPR station in Chattanooga was much better than the station out here, believe it or not. We miss it.
