What a great story! I think many of us here in the USA take it for granted that we can buy music so easily. I complain when I have trouble tracking down music from Japanese artists, but really, I can pretty easily get music from just about any band.

Great fan dedication, that is for sure.

I thought the drumming on Lex was just fine, especially since that is such a keyboard heavy album. I hardly notice the percussion side of things on an album like that. I have the new Rick Wakeman DVD - 6 Wives, and the drummer uses an electronic kit. Its not a problem, since the drums are the not a ...

I'd like to think so -but I know I left out a few. Just so hard to narrow down though. And I keep buying more music, still looking for more, just never ending.

I can just see the Community Chest card now; You meet a squeaky-voiced Japanese woman Lose your marbles Never release another decent record  Didn't John meet her around 66 or 67? She may have had a huge hand in breaking up the band, but didn't prevent Lennon from writing some incredible music ...

So hard to come up with a list, but I'll try to narrow it down a little. Classic era: Yes - Close To the Edge Yes - Fragile Yes - Tales From Topographic Oceans Genesis - Foxtrot Genesis - Selling England By the Pound Genesis - Lamb ELP - Brain Salad Surgery ELP - Trilogy ELP - Tarkus PFM - L'Isola D...

I thinks its a "no contest". Nick is a great drummer and solid vocalist, but the albums without Neal just sound like a different band, and not nearly as interesting of one. Neal has gone on to make a few great albums since leaving, and the 3 beard albums? Eh, they just don't do much for me. Its soli...

Nice cover, I like it. I'm saying this a day after picking up the new Porcupine Tree album, which I really like. But man, they have the absolute worst album covers!

I vote for Susie's vocals personally. but don't at all mind Fred and Steve's vocals. Amazing how that aspect of GH was considered a weakness at one point by many, including me! Now I look forward to hearing it nearly as much as the keys, and I'm a total keyboard nut.

Every day I keep changing my mind about 3RP. I soooooo want to go, but the drive is way too long for me with my health. I may carpool if possible, though I have no idea who with. But it's all moot anyway. I went to Nearfest in a loaner wheelchair mini-van that the dealer didn't charge me for, and it...

The King of Sidekicks The King of Pop The Queen of Every 70's boy's fantasies The King of TV salesmen I get sick to my stomach every time I read "King of Pop". It was a record company creation, and not until the 90's. Nobody was calling him that before. besides, by then he was really just king of v...
