Correct me if I'm wrong. So what's going on now is: -New Glass Hammer album. -Re-doing of The Inconsolable Secret . -Reprinting of The Compilations as it is sold out currently. -A second album of compilations/unused/unreleased tracks. Is that even close to right? Even without a 2nd compilation albu...

Cool news. I'm still hoping to attend 3RP, but the realization that it's a 6 hour drive and my health being terrible, I don't know if it's possible. I know, easier said than done, but come to New Jersey, I'm sure the NJ Proghouse would love to have GH. Just came back from a NJ PH show tonight, seein...

You did read the date that list of musicians was posted, right? Still, it's great to hear of new GH music coming down the road.

Good interview. I'm a little bummed I admit, getting to see the band again at 3RP, first time since Nearfest, but no strings and none of the women on vocals. I'm trying to imagine the band without any female vocals and having a tough time, it's become my favorite part of the GH sound.

It's funny, I got OTE when it came out, and wasn't terribly thrilled by it. But I could tell there was something about it I liked, enough to check out the next album. Glad I did. All these years later, I'm enjoying that album a bit more, it's been a slow grower...

I would say the first few GH albums are close to neo-prog, but I think all that changed with Chronomotree. I don't see neo as a negative conotation at all. But I do think symphonic prog is a more wide open format, and isn't nearly so predictable when done right, which of course I think GH does!

OK, a real easy one for cowbell in rock, "Mississippi Queen" for starters, even Pink Floyd, prominantly in "Pigs, 3 Different Ones" off of Animals. There are tons of them, especially in most 70's hard rock acts.

If you like King's X, Ty's solo albums are a must, especially "Moonflower Lane". Platypus is cool, maybe a bit skitzofrenic. But Jelly Jam is amazing!

"More Cowbell"! If I have to explain, it, it wont be funny! Just listen to a half hour of 70's rock, you will hear cowbell ALL THE TIME, and definitely in "Don't Fear the Reaper". It's a goofy skit, but it certainly cracks me up. And come on, it has Christopher Walkin in it! I love that guy, he's so...

Such a hard list to narrow down! I guess by Neo, you mean "new progressive", since I think of neo as the Marillion/IQ kind of prog style. Anyway, here goes: Yes - Close to the Edge Genesis - Selling England by the Pound Yes - Fragile Genesis - Foxtrot ELP - Brain Salad Surgery Rush - A Farewell to K...
