I've got my ticket! OK, still waiting for it in the mail. Two major festivals for me in the same summer, can't wait!

Great signing for 3RP! I was already planning to go, but this was the total deal maker, I've bought my tickets! Windowspeak, King's X at a prog festival seems odd even to me and I am a keyboard nut to boot. But they are an amazing live act. I also strongly reccommend the "Faith Hope Love" album, a d...

Awesome performance, but I did notice some sountrack issues during a few times where it was a fraction of a second off. Loved the closing with "South Side of the Sky", and I got a kick out of the chorus rocking out to this. I really have to make an effort to see GH live this summer. I'm not terribly...

I've only watched about 20 minutes, but I'm loving what I'm hearing. Well shot too. I agree about Carl seeming more confident here -not that he's bad on the Belmont DVD. And the female vocals easily live up to the very high GH standard. Susie just gets better and better, a great live performer. And ...

That's an interesting comment about the early albums. OTE is an album that I don't listen to much, but I get the same reaction, that it's better than I remember. It was my first GH purchase, I bought it when it was just released. I listened and thought it was a band with good potential. Turns out I ...

Way back in 1992 I saw Dream Theater for the first time, and it was right before Christmas. They did their version of "O Holy Night", though a bit of a rocking version, as opposed to the one you can find on the internet. This was in a dive club, in front of maybe 80 people, when they were still unkn...

Nice choices, especially the ". I'm with you! Coincidentally, I just wrote about that: http://massdream.blogspot.com Yeah, you are right about the backup singers. I guess it was just the style back then. I just watched "Holiday Inn" last week, amazing to think theater goers in 1942 were hearing Whi...

Hey, I think I'm still stuffed from that day! I'm in no way ready for Christmas, this is all coming way too fast for me. No gifts bought just yet, at least the tree is decorated.... Oh yeah, I'm a little late, but I'm certainly thankful for so much great music, among other things...

Awesome news, and it just may get me to Pittsburgh! I've been wanting to attend more than one festival -Nearfest is a given for me. I really want to see Syzygy, so adding GH makes this difficult to pass up. It all depends on my health, we shall see.

Nice choices, especially the Charlie Brown one. But I have to add the classic of classic Christmas albums, Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song". It's one of my favorite albums of all time, and one of the all-time great voices. I've always enjoyed the really old recordings, it's hard to beat things l...

Sounds cool. No performances by me, unless you count my singing in the car, and perhaps some carols at Church on Christmas Eve.

I'd buy a David Walliman Christmas album. But what I'd really love is one by all of Glass Hammer!
