Soundclick of the day!!

Post by FredProgGH » Thu Oct 06, 2005 10:13 pm

I've been purusing Soundclick (a music site modeled after what MP3.com used to be like) and if you listened to the thing I posted in the "strange stuff" thread you know how horrific it can be. So you are all going to share my pain

BUT

Here's a band with some potential I think! They lack a real drummer and singer but the writing is solid and the bass and keys sound good. When the get a whole band together they could go somewhere. Pop on over and give 'em a listen!

I like Atacama ... wish they had a full fledged album out. I'd buy it.

I like that guy too. And I like the nod to Mahavishnu Orchestra. Regarding "Do Not See My Rabbit, Part 3," I hear a Brand X influence, especially in the beginning of the piece ... but then again, I'm probably wrong. And are my ears deceiving me? I also hear ... yes, I think it is ... a strong Glass Hammer influence.

Ummm... could be :D

Oh, it's Do Not See ME Rabbit. Remember the original pressing of Thick As A Brick, with the full newspaper in the sleeve?? That was the name of a story in the paper. It was a saga of a WWII fighter pilot...

Let the pain begin??? That's an understatement. That's almost crippling pain. I couldn't make it past 40 seconds, and that was 39 seconds too much.

Well now, that just explains everything doesn't it? The C-market not only accepts mediocrity, we demand it and reward it liberally. 8)

It's three minutes long but 20 seconds into it I found my fingernails had grown a half inch- apparently the song has the ability to warp the fabric of space-time.
