Coffee and christmas music in Chattanooga...

Post by Shreddy » Tue Dec 13, 2005 12:32 pm

Hi my friends.
I was asked to play some Christmas music at the coffeeshop I work at.
I'll be playing this friday afternoon from 2PM to 4PM and tuesday morning from 8 to 11.
Not ready for this, I'll basically be jaming along the tracks. But I'd be glad to see some friendly faces there.
I'll play a few Trans-Syberian Orchestra stuff and some other classic Christmas songs...
The coffeeshop is Chattz and is located on 1010 Marketstreet in Chattanooga.
We serve the finest ! hehehe...
Hope to see some of you there.

Wish I could be there. We're staying in Cali for Christmas, and I'll be playing a show as well that same day, but out here.
That's weird. On seperate sides of the country, 2 GH members will be playing shows on the same night! Have fun.

Bad timing. I am sorely tempted to make the trip up from Atlanta, except for the fact that I, responsible adult that I am, should be finishing my Christmas shopping/gift-wrapping that Tuesday.

How did Friday's gig go?

Fred, Susan and Rachel came, and I came with Julie and Jon-Michael. There were others too. David rocked of course. He's amazing. 8)
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

It was great seeing my Glass Hammer friends there.
I had a lot of fun. Julie gave me the best Christmas cookies I ever had. :-)
I'll be doing the same set tomorrow morning, same place from 8 to 11.
The owners were very pleased. As a mater of fact I think I'l try to organize a mini-show for the release of Deep inside the Mind sometime for its release in late january.
I'll keep you posted.
How did your show go Flo ?
