The URL is the wrong one. It should be www.google.com/balhblah, you had it as goggle.com.

Regardless of his age, he is incredibly talented.

It's just amazing that a 12 year old even knew who Tony Williams was.
And now for something completly different...

I'd love to see or hear him now-9 years later! I can only imagine.

Truly. By way of comparison, I saw Derek Trucks play at an arena-rock show back in 1991, and I was knocked out at how this prepubescent child screamed on the guitar. Bet he's overwhelmingly awesome now.

That's just ear protection. Nine year old ears are sensetive!! BTW you can check his website for current news. He's a great drummer but the music he's doing on his own isn't really terribly exciting, at least to me. But the guy has talent.

I agree-I'm not impessed with his associations either, but I'd still like to hear how he sounds now.

Google his name; he has a website. It's not his associations as much as the site has some solo material and it's very generic loungy fusion/R&B. But he plays his butt off! Maybe that's the point, he doesn't want the music to overshadow what he's doing. But then you listen to something like Bruford's One Of Kind where everything shines, the songs and all the players are brilliant.

Great point! There are few drummers that can lead a band of incredible musicians like Brufod did in 78-80 and not only shine, but make the others sound better too-that was some of Holdsworth's best work!!! I've been fortunate to see some great drummers live-Dave Wekl, Mike Portnoy,Neil Peart,Alan White,Phil Erhart,Pat Masteletto,Walfredo Reyes,Rod Morgenstein,Steve Smith,Chad Wackerman,etc.-but I regret never seeing Bruford live!Bruford and Jeff Berlin also did some great work with Kazumi Watanabe(The Spice of Life). As you can tell I went thru a jazz fusion phase(I still like alot of it-Holdsworth,Gambale,CC elektric Band).this new Karmakanic I got has some great fusion elements-very intense!!!As I've said before-Jonas Reingold and Zoltan Csortaz are an incredible rhythm section!!!Bridges the gap between fusion and prog-my two favorite musical forms!!!!!
