YAY!!! Congratulations from Jawja!!! :D

According to Friday's newspaper, little Amelie Ashe shares a birthdate with Rosalynn Carter, Robert Redford, Patrick Swayze, Christian Slater, Denis Leary, Nona Hendryx, Edward Norton, Malcolm Jamal Warner...and last but not least, my old friend Andy Norris.
Quikrete - the biggest name in concrete since Jimmy Hoffa.

Thanks everyone!
I'm still on a high from actual birth-it was simply amazing.
On Friday morning, we welcomed Amelie Ashe into our lives, and right into our home (the dining room to be specific!!)
I was aware of everything, and honestly, the best word I can use to describe the birth and even the labor, is "euphoric."
I'm so glad I was able to have her at home, in water, totally unmedicated-it was a HUGE difference from my first delivery (Sera was born in the hospital with an epidural) and I can't believe how well everything went, and how well I feel.
She never really even cried, just floated out into the water and looked around. It was sooo peaceful.
Here are some pictures (don't worry, they're PG :)

Me REALLY happy that I finally got to get in the tub and start pushin':

Congrats, Flo! Girls are awesome; I'm blessed with two myself. Hope things are going well.

By the way, Practice Room gets two big thumbs up from this house! Nice work.

Wow I am glad everything went well. I always thought that water birthing was cool, but never known anyone to try it. Your baby looks healthy and the pics are great. Hope you all are well.
