And Peter is gonna "die". I wonder if Linderman will heal him or something.

I'm glad that all those previews they were showing were just from that episode. It means that there's much more packed into the last 4. Not a particularly amazing episode, but it is nice to have Heroes back.... for 5 weeks... until the wait for season 2 begins...

Oooo man, this may be my favorite Heroes episode. I definately have to get a good closeup of future Peter to draw. He's so awesome. If you take Neo, subtract some gothiness, and mutiply him by 50x, you get future Peter.

The scar is way to pretty, so is hiro's hair.
This is the most awesome episode yet... and contains a lot of info.
how can they maintain such a high level...

When Nathan turned into Sylar and killed Claire, I thought that was so cool I was cheering him on lol.

What I don't get is how Claire was still alive. Future Hiro said Sylar regenerated when he stabbed him. Unless that regenerating was just Linderman's power...
Hayden is pretty cute as a brunette, too

No, because Future Hiro went back to tell Peter to save the cheerleader, he prevented Sylar from getting Claire's powers. Therefore, he shouldn't be regenerated when the bomb happened. But for some reason, in this theory of time, Past Hiro has to actually go through with the stabbing for the future to be any different. So rather than time being a sort of single, continuous truth that will alter completely as soon as a change is made to the past (or alter slowly, such as in Back to the Future kind of time travel), it's now got two tracks. And the past track has to "catch up" with the future track and follow all the way through with the changes begun in the past in order for it to effect the future in any way. So instead of a wave propogating through a pond, it's like rewinding and rerecording (and skipping to the future, you haven't finished overwriting it yet, so it's the same as it would have been before the overwrite started). Get it? Silly time travel theories. I think the ripple one makes more effect, but...

Nathan's poweris wholly lame. And I didn't really like Peter when he was all whiny and existentially angsty, but I don't know that I like him now that he's all "I am the ONE!" either... And come on, Partman! you were cool once!! But I will second the fact that Claire is a pretty cute brunette too!

Whatever the case, we can know this for sure: In the future, no one talks - ususal language has been replaced with the menacing half-whisper.

Sylar is probably one of my favorite characters. Actually, just that clock ticking that starts when he forces her to stand still before he kills her is like 1/4 of what makes that the best scene ever.

And I still don't get your time travel explanation. Actually, I just don't get how Claire is alive. That's the real problem. Peter didn't save her in the future timeline.

I'm guessing the reason Peter blew up was because Sylar was still alive. They were probably having a big fight, and Peter lost control cause he was all into it and such that his powers started spazzing. So if Hiro kills Sylar, Peter doesn't fight him, and doesn't blow up.

I wonder what they're gonna do next. The last episode will end with Peter blowing up or not blowing up. I'm waiting to see what season 2 will be doing then.

Edit: Actually, I think I do get your time traveling point now, too. So are you saying he killed her, and regenerated when Hiro stabbed him, but when Hiro went back and told Peter, who saved her, and so then she reappeared and Sylar lost her power and the memory of killing her or something? That's the only way it would make sense. Also, that could be the reason why he said that he thought Claire was dead.

That's a really good point. If time travel is a tape recorder, how could she be alive? I have no idea. Anyone care to redeem Heroes' philosophy of time travel before we pronounce it as unsound and poorly designed?

That was about the most boring episode ever.

Now we know some more about Sylar...
but who cares ...

So he was pushed around by his mom te be special... yet he only wanted to be a simple watchmaker.

I almost felt sorry for him..(not really)
