The people have spoken, the thread is created.

And Jack Bauer is still a vampire.

Actually, he's more of a zombie IMO. One of those new-fangled fast ones.

Brief comments on first 4 episodes:

Spit take that Milo from Season 1 is back.

I want to see Jack rough up Graham!

Where's Aaron Pierce?? He has to show up sometime - I think only he and Jack have been in every season (maybe Kim too?).

Will Chloe survive the day?

Can't decide whether Jack's hand is scarred by fire, chemical burns, lacerations, or what...

I don't think Kim was in seasn 4 was she? They're killing off all the old characters... they're probably gonna kill Bill. That will make me sad. Chloe, of course, can't die. Maybe she'll get another sweet moment like in that one episode where she killed the guy with a M-16 :P Chloe + Gun + Fun. I think the Logans might return, too. I remember reading an article in the paper and it talked about the president and his wife, who will be returning. So that's weird...

Chloe's gonna die. She's the "she's so popular they think we'd never kill her so let's kill her" factor for this season. I say she gets it in hour 20 and Jack goes super ballistic.

I'm thinking Jack's hand got burned they old fashioned way while being tortured by the Chinese. Interesting no one has even commented on it yet.

I'm glad to see that Fred and others are as into this show as me. I bought seasons 1,3, and 5 when they were on sale at Best Buy on Christmas Eve for 19.99ea.! Sould have gotten all 5, but i'll pick up the rest later. I'm able to record it on DVD this season! It's been a great start. I wasn't sorry to see Curtis go-and the set-up for that was WAY too obvious!, but if you love the show you put up with all of the over the top and"easy to see coming" stuff-or maybe that's cause i've watched it so much lately, and am used to the writing styles. I do have to say I didn't see the suitcase bomb being set off-and wasn't that mushroom cloud awesome! Can't wait til Monday! Jack Rules!

I hope you're wrong, but you're probably right! Can we kill off that nerd ex-boyfriend of hers instead! Chloe rocks-but can't stand the new harido!

Record... on... dvd.... hmmmm.... if we ever get a dvd player that can record that would be handy... tape Heroes on a VHS, and 24 on a dvd.

Dude, I'm telling you, Tivo (or equivalent DVR). It has changed my life. They have dual tuners so you can record two shows at the same time, you aren't burning media all the time and the quality is great.

What does it record them onto? Like does it just have a built in memory or something that holds them or what.

It uses a hard drive. Most of them store 80 hours of regular TV or more. If you have cable you can probably get a new cable box with built in DVR for $5 more a month- that's what mine cost.

My DVR has changed my life. Even more so when we got a DVD recorder and could easily save broadcasts to DVD.

my main pc has an ATI RADEON all-in-wonder card in it, with TV Tuner, and I have Windows Media Center edition.

I have a 200GB hard drive, and I love using it as my DVR.

Honestly, Microsoft really did an amazing job with the interface. Stable, nice looking, intuitive.

I use a USB wireless remote control, and it works great.
