So my friends participate in FAWM (I think this is the second year they've done it) and the goal is to write an entire album in February, the shortest month of the year.
It is open to all kinds of artists on all kinds of levels.
Here is a fun little ditty they put together for it under the band name "Half Penny Orchestra":
They wrote it all based on this genre:
Songs In "Strangle-Disco"
In short, all these songs are based on the theme "Beethoven's Howlingly Melodious New Bass Guitar 'n' Strangle Disco," which is an anagram of "Wow, those could all be lines in the same song. A very disturbing song."
Ingredients: disco beats, funky bass, Beethoven samples, and TONGUE-IN-CHEEK sinister lyrics.
Anagrams are optional but strongly encouraged.
