I just gotta! :D :D

This guy could not run 3 miles (150 feet was pretty rough):

But THIS guy can!!

Never made it past 2 in a straight shot before but today it cooled off a tad, I went slow (about 4 mph) and just went for it. It wore me out but it didn't kill me. That means I've achieved a personal goal of running the equivalent of a 5k race- nonstop. I'm going to try a real one eventually- I won't win but I'll finish! I'm so stoked- who would have thought it, huh??

Woah, never said a marathon *lol* I'm just happy with a couple miles. If I ever got to 5 as a regular run I'd be happy. I'm happy now averaging 2...

Oh. My. Gawd.

Fred, that's absolutely astonishing- I mean, I've got no excuse now not to get in better shape... wow...

It's got to feel great being that much lighter on your feet, etc.

Customers and friends drop by our studio just to look at Fred these days. He's a legend - even without the hammond now.

Hey, 3 miles! Nice work, bro ... a super impressive transformation. If you've reached 3, 5 is not all that far off. (Assuming the heat isn't too overwhelming, it makes a big difference.)

Thanks everyone :D I admit it's a little unfair that a prodigal sort gets a lot more attention than someone who has had the good sense and discipline to stay healthy all along, but better late than never, right??

I reckon you should start using a pseudonym a la Stephen de Arque. Looking at the new name and the group photo people will assume that there has been a line-up change.

Congrat's again. Whatever you have on your mp3 player while you're joggin must be pretty inspiring,

We'd kill the fatted calf, but you couldn't eat any of it. (Its a prodigal son reference...)
