My Labor Day picnic fun

Post by Bnielsen » Wed Sep 05, 2007 8:14 pm

Hey guys!

It's been a while since I've talked to you all, I hope you all had a great holiday.

I spent 6 hours of it at a family picnic, playing the piano with a bunch of uncles who have all been playing drums, bass, piano, guitar, and singing for ages. Actually, I am about half their age =p

I had hung out with my uncle in the yellow shirt (the other keyboardist) and jammed with him, so we fed off each other pretty well when I didn't know the songs or whatnot.

I was playing on my keyboard and helping with the vocals.

We rocked out awesomely - we ended with the Rolling Stones 'Sympathy for the devil' and about 10 minutes of solo's. Totally amazing.

Some good pictures:

Totally Awesome Video of us playing!

We had about 50 people from the neighborhood there at one point, asking who the band was, and how they could get us to play =p

Enjoy, and I'd appreciate your comments... stay safe, miss you all!

Woot!

I am envious. I was at work that day, but it looks like you guys had a blast, and you sounded pretty good. I always liked the Doors, despite Morrison's antics. Keep up the fun!
