Whatever you do, don't make your own music. They deal harshly with that. :D

I've decided to call my school's 3D computer animation lab the Temple of Syrinx---because it is. And the room used to be a morgue, as well. Double whammy.

Excellent! Do you ever get little ghost images in your animations??

Speaking of ghosts, I had a most excellent freaky ghost-baby dream the other night. Read about it here:

Genius
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

Sheesh---what were you on?!

Personally, though, I don't think that a ghost baby could be scarier than dreaming that your college wanted you to graduate earlier. In order to accomplish that, they make you take 30 hrs worth of classes in ONE SEMESTER.

That scared the heck out of me . . .

Oh, I remember seeing that one!
Yes, sometimes it feels like our animations bite back: "I can't help doing what you want, but I can do it in the worst way possible!"

Reminds me of a re-ocurring nightmare I've had over the years. I'm in the middle of the semester and I realize I completely forgot about one of my classes the whole time. It's been a few months, but I've had nearly the same dream hundreds of times, and I graduated in 1990! I'll probably be 80 and still have the same dream... Yes, I was a lousy student, but I still have that all important piece of paper!
And now for something completly different

I've heard this song a thousand times, who are the "we" that have assumed control? I never pay much attention to such details, but that question just popped into my head.
