Memorial Day Picnic - Jam Band Clips

Post by Bnielsen » Tue May 26, 2009 12:00 am

Hey guys!

Hope you and yours had a good and safe holiday weekend.

Spent Sunday afternoon with the family at my Grandfather's place - grills and a deep fryer with lots of food and fun for all.

There are a ton of very musical people in the family, and the 'Conshohocken All Star Jam Band' made another appearance this year...

I play the keys and sing, my uncle ed on the keys/guitar/singing, uncle mike on the bass, uncle kez on the drums/vocals, and howie (good friend of the family) on guitar and voice. We played for about 4 hours, playing everything from the Beatles to The Who, usually attracting some people form the neighborhood too.

Here's some clips (I'm behind the silver keyboard far left):

'Lucky Man' featuring Ed's daughter Emily on guitar:

(I'm singing the melody during the chorus - I love the harmony in this one)

'Drift Away' featuring aunt Sandy on guitar:

(again, I'm singing the melody on the chorus, and YES I know I came in early the one time >.< doh!)

Not bad for a group with no practice, eh?

Drop a comment on the vids, and here if you could, and let me know what you guys think!

Thanks!
