*idea for a live double-dvd/3-disc digipak:
All the classics that haven’t been on the 3 previous dvds (with the exception of Tales…) including a song from every studio release and putting emphasis on "IF". The runtime would be just under 3 hours and could be played either all on one night, or back-to-back nights. Of course, this type of performance would probably require some of the alumni such as Susie and.......Walter? I’ve seen bands like Dream Theater and Opeth doing this sort of thing in recent years for their 20th anniversaries and thought these guys could do it as well – GH has the type of catalogue to pull this off.
Set 1
Beyond, Within
The Lure of Dreams
Song of the Dunadan
Lliusion
Junkyard Angel
Empty Space/Revealer
Behold, The Ziddle
In the Court of Alkinoos
(Approx. 85 min.)
Set 2
Ember Without Name
A Bitter Wind
A Maker of Crowns
Tales of the Great Wars
So Close, So Far
Last Ship
If The Sun
(Approx. 85 min.)

Re: My idea for a potential GH DVD
Great idea - very ambitious. We do hope to have some sort of 20th anniversary concert - but this one may be too big. Due to the band being spread out around the country and the difficulty of the material - it is nearly impossible to rehearse and prepare for anything longer than 1.5 hours. But if I weren't in the band and could just enjoy the show - this would be the one to see!gcblodgett wrote:*idea for a live double-dvd/3-disc digipak:
