Posted this under "Strange Stuff" already, but deleted, because it really belongs here.

120 years of electronic instruments:

http://www.obsolete.com/120_years/

Some great old obsolete instruments there, some that when I was younger I absolutely *had* to have. And never did, which given my talent level, is just as well.

Dude, that was awesome!! Only, I feel that they were critically overlooking a certain VERY prominent font of the last few years, Mr. Popular #1: Papyrus. Don't anyone try to pretend you haven't seen it all over the place.

Oh... like, health shops that cater to a level in between Super Elite and Super Hipster level of people, Trader Joe's Jasmine Tea, uncountable flyers for organizations of all types (but for some reason, especially for spiritual ones), etc. It's a font that kind of conveys a natural, wholesome vibe but with a slight bit of funky and new-agey edge. You know?

27 "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. 30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.

I like it when clients of ours name their machines or username/passwords something clever.

Once PD has a server called '420MDMA' and the password is 'bonghit'.... and yes- it's for a drug task force lol

other ones named all their servers after moons of jupiter or characters from Family Guy

Very good indeed! Their estimate of the actual universe may be a bit too conservative according to some...
