I'm probably on here a few pages back, but it's worth mentioning that I turn 40 next month! It's just a number, so I'm not too bothered. When it comes to sports, I'm still like a little kid. When it comes to music, I'm still like a teenager! When I got to work today a bit early, I was cranking the Jordan Rudess version of "Dance on A Volcano" for several minutes before leaving my truck. If the music suddenly becomes too loud for me, then I know I'm really old...

Oh, my birthday is October 27th! I share the same birthdate, 10/27/67 as Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots/Velvet Revolver fame. I always found that pretty cool, though unlike him, I avoided the whole heroin thing! Gotta give him credit though, not too many people thought he would make it to 40.

I also share a birthday with John Cleese and Teddy Roosevelt! Oh, and Simon Lebon...
And now for something completly different

Happy belated Birthday, Steve! For me, I have a whopping 1 and a half days left of my 30's. Good riddence as far as I'm concerned...

40's rock. Don't worry about it. Just make sure you have great insurance. I'm averaging around 1 surgery per year lately!

Thankfully I do. Lets see, in fall of 03 it was a broken knee. In 05 it was hernia surgery in January and a torn ACL later that month. In 06 it was a lovely heart condition. In 07, a broken tail bone. Thank God I do have health insurance and a very understanding employer.
