Ok, obviously I'm a major nerd, but there are time when even I shock myself with how nerdy I am. Like when I realized I had just translated a Glass Hammer song into Elvish, when I looked back on my Nex Tex, or when it occured to me that when I want to relax the first thing I often do is kick back and study Japanese.
But today was an equally nerdy realization: here I am, a University of Chicago student (which in itself says quite a bit about my geekdom factor), walking into the Regenstein library (fourth largest college library in the country), where most of the aforementioned impressively nerdy University of Chicago students live, listening to a song I bought off of iTunes because it was about pi and thinking it was really cool.... At that moment I could just feel the geek seeping out of me and evaporating out into the Reg's sterile library atmosphere--which is already so heavy with nerdiness it's about to start raining differential equations. Wow.

By his blindness to see that the warmth of his being
Is promised for his seeing, his reaching so clearly

Interesting indeed..
I liked the background music of the site..
I started the first movie and was like OK I like this..
Then the women with wings appeared and I was like What the...
By the time the man with wings came I put it of..
To weird for me
The second movie couldn't entertain me because opera is sometimes to "screamy" for me.
To bad... I liked the idea.

They turn real spam subject lines into cartoons.
Josh and I were laughing so hard we were crying as we looked through them all.

The sad thing about that last one is that at my school, people actually would and do have these kinds of conversations frequently.
