We will be not on this next one, but the one after that. Isn't that right, Steve? :Deal:

We might have been able to go to Chattanooga for the Lex Live filming, but we were too big and the stage is too small, so that didn't work out. :(

(BTW, how many choir members frequent here? Me, Venividi (though he doesn't say much), Bnielson, King... Am I missing anyone?)

King, Veni Vidi, Sam Gamgee, Jonger, BNielsen ... oh, and me (DG, I was the director/arranger). I think everyone in the choir is registered on the site, but I think it's just the 6 of us who are active now (jeez, I hope I'm not missing anyone)

We all got the scores and CDs to practice along with (it appeared that few actually did ) and then we had two rehersals at NEARfest. Only hardly anyone came on time for the first one because they were listening to the Flower Kings. Some people have really messed up priorities...

Verily, the Flower Kings do rock. I would ditch my band rehersal for them anyday. But then again, a missing alto sax isn't the biggest deal to most Wind Ensembles...
I gotta admit that I'm a little bit confused
Sometimes it seems to me as if I'm just being used
Gotta stay awake, gotta try and shake off this creeping malaise
If I don't stand my own ground, how can I find my way out of this maze?

That was a no-brainer for me, even if I wasn't helping to conduct the rehearsal. Roine's voice gets on my last nerve. Never saw what the fuss was all about, but that's just one opinion. I know they're wildly popular, but it's lost on me.

As usual, YMMV.

they just sound good to me, i wish they'd do a bit more instrumentally during their vocals, but as you so eloquently put it, that's just one opinion
