NEARFest X

Hey guys,

Had a great time seeing quite a few members of the GH choir at NEARFest this weekend.

The highlight of the weekend for me was Liquid Tension Experiment.

They are:
Tony Levin - Bass/Stick
John Petrucci - Guitar
Jorden Ruddess - Keys
Mike Portnoy - Drums

Not a group of slackers!

They performed (with less than a week of practice and composistion) the entire 'Rhapsody in Blue' by George Gershwin, which is one of my all time favorite songs - what an amazing rendition!!!!!

btw, Steve- I talked to Chad, and he said get in touch with him regarding purchasing more of the Live at NEARFest CD so it's back in stock on the site.

I hope they make a live album from the LTE show, It would be worth it JUST for the 'Raptor and Blues'

27 "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. 30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.
