Hey, I wasn't going to suggest it, but okay!
I gotta admit that I'm a little bit confused
Sometimes it seems to me as if I'm just being used
Gotta stay awake, gotta try and shake off this creeping malaise
If I don't stand my own ground, how can I find my way out of this maze?

Dueling basses? John Wetton's a member of this forum?!?!? :P

The tune you mention is available for download; it's a 6.0 Meg file. Try

http://www.kansasfans.com/tunes/Icarus.mp3

and also

http://www.kansasfans.com/tunes/cows.mp3

which is a 4.7 Meg file. I played bass on both these.

Sam Gamgee wrote:Hurrah! :D Now I can't wait. For either album. Is the whole next album you're writing going to be about Homer's tales? or is it going to be another collection of mostly unrelated songs? I'm really excited to hear it. it's a good book. Now we only need a big juicy prog album on Beowulf. And I'm actually not kidding.

Oh, and uh, while you're inviting guest performers for the album after next, I think you should feature an electric kazoo solo courtesy of Theremin. I'm morbidly curious.
The Homer thing is from the Oddysey project.http://www.colossus.fi/
We'll put it on a GH album some day, but we won't do so until the above mentioned project has been out for awhile. Beowulf isn't a bad idea Steph :)

I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart
