Steve! Thank you so much again for what a TOTAL honor it was to sing with you guys on stage. I just finished reading the liner notes on the site, and I am touched by your honesty and openess about the whole experience. I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say that the performance at NF 03 was one of the very best moments in my life, and getting to know you guys outside of your music has left an indelable impression on me. Thank you, thank you, thank you again.

Amen, and thrice over amen!

or, less poetically, - what he said.

By his blindness to see that the warmth of his being
Is promised for his seeing, his reaching so clearly[/i][/color]

hehe. We can tell when we're really bored at work--when one person says "thank you," the other says, "no, thank you," the one says "no-no-no, thank you," the other says, "NO, thank YOU!!!" and the next thing we know we're in a half-serious shouting match. :P

You could always pull out the Ultimate Geeky Comeback, useful in just about any arguemnt:

"Thank you" raised to the xth power, where x = "thank you" raised to the xth
(thank you)^x; x=(thank you )^x

It really either freaks out or confuses most people into halting the argument.

I got it, Sam...
I gotta admit that I'm a little bit confused
Sometimes it seems to me as if I'm just being used
Gotta stay awake, gotta try and shake off this creeping malaise
If I don't stand my own ground, how can I find my way out of this maze?

Wasn't it Chip and Dale who started this??? "Why thank you sir" ... "Oh but no, thank YOU my good man ... " .... 'I simply insist ... thank YOU ...' complete with a proper British accent.

OK, I guess I'm showing my age ... but it was a hoot.

I remember Chip and Dale. You're right. But to show my age, that reminded me of Heckle and Jeckle.
