BTW, the other lead instrument on the track is one of THESE.

Not a crumhorn but sorta similar- reedy and weird :D

The only other thing I can think of that sounds like a krumhorn is a sackbutt ... ;)

How was your recorder recorded for "Morrigan's Song," Steph? Did the band fly you down to Nooga, or did you play over the telephone? :P Or (the more-likely alternative) did you record at some facility near where you live and end up with an audio file which you then sent to Sound Resources?

Conveniently enough, I recorded it at my house, just like "I Súrë"(the elvish "the wind"). My dad has been writing music since long before I was born, and so he has a whole room full of recording equiment (and even some of those little foam dealies to block out the noise from the rest of the family). Then put the mp3 of just recorder on a site for Steve to download. High-tech, huh? I think we might have picture of it somewhere -it's pretty cool... I'll see if I can find it.
