So it looks like I'm not going to be able to make the show.

This seriously cheeses me off

Our work just cancelled vacation requests for our support department that are not on a monday or friday, or that span more than two days.

Complete and utter bull. If they had just hired somone new 6 months ago like they knew they needed to, it wouldn't have come to this.

I had all the money saved up and everything.

Sorry Steve/Fred/Everyone.

Now that sucks like a vacuum cleaner.

Call in sick. Ever heard of the two-day flu?? I understand it's very contagious, particularly to bosses who feel the need to come to your house to, um, check whether you're home or not. It has been proven to cause instant fatality to them if they come within sight of your driveway.

Yeah, unfortunately with a small company like ours, not much room for that sort of thing.

More bad news: i may not be able to make it either... :-/ We'll see, but I dunno... On the one hand, I would kill to see some of these songs live... and on the other, skipping class and dishing out all that money to get there is not always too easy for a poor college student... Still not sure yet though.

No kidding- you guys need to get it together! *lol* This will be a better show. The choir will be better rehearsed, we've added the strings to pretty much everything, Carl will be playing more and I've changed my approach to a couple things. But I understand that reality gets in the way- never fear, there will be at least an audio recording and probably a video as well...

Truthfully, we're bummin. Not good for morale. Both of you need to be here, cuz it just won't be right. Hope things work out.
Steve

ps: Carl and Susie will be here today for their first rehearsal.

I hate that you guys may not get to attend. If there is anyway that you can finagle(sp?) it, it would be great to see you there. I was looking forward to seeing most of the people I saw at Belmont there.

Let's hope some things fall in place before then, it still is over a month away, and I will be crossing my fingers for you two.
