I'm away from the forum for a week or so and all of a sudden we have more awesome music samples and a new show?! SWEET!! Seriously, this is AWESOME!! I am a very much BIG fan of these samples!!!!!

Can... uh... can I just have my album now please? Thanks. ;)

Good work guys! Sorry for being so disconnected here but my internet time is kind of limited... And not at my house so I can't listen to these samples multiple times over and over! Dang it!

Well, I'm looking forward to it!!

Carl came down from Nashvegas yesterday and sang some final vocal tracks. Robert Streets (who sang 'David' in our 'David and Goliath) is helping us out with vocals and mixing.

Fred and I are nearing the summit, but are low on oxygen and pulmonary edema is setting in quickly. One ill-timed blizzard could ruin the whole climb and kill us all - but we've got summit-fever and will continue on with encouragement from base-camp.

All that to say - the real mixing begins today!

I don't remember if I mentioned that I did get the book, and devoured it- such an amazing and heartwrenching story

Just an FYI- the album is done, apart from little tweaks (which admittedly, can be the most important part!!) and it sounds GREAT. In fact, if you don't think it's the best sounding GH album ever, I'll listen to every Grateful Dead album in a row. Nonstop. :D :D

They're they go with the hype again. Hope no one from PE hears about this. As you know, we're not allowed to comment favorably upon our own work.

Then again listen to Greatful dead is no punishment. Listen to Modern Talking for 10 hours would be.......

just the thought of that makes me hear Gollum's line from the Two Towers movie
"but that would kill us"
On a crystal morning I can see the dewdrops falling
Down from a gleaming heaven, I can hear the voices calling
When you comin' home now, son, this world is not for you

Only a couple of tweaks to go and we're done on our end. Then, off to the mastering house we go.

So when are you lot getting a new album together? Eh, eh?

:P

Album artwork looks fantastic!

Samples sound intriguing...if I still had hair I might've been inclined to shake it about a bit!

Hopefully you've given Maestro Anderson some meaty chunks of music to get his pipes around

Lookin' mighty fine so far... 8)
