Pushing the Edge of the Envelope

Post by Venividi » Sat Jul 21, 2007 9:23 am

The samples of the new album on MySpace sound great! It sounds like, as in past practice, Glass Hammer is kicking it up another notch! It is amazing that you can continue to push the edge of the envelope, I mean, how many notches are left?

And the band said... "Let there be rock."

And there was rock. And they saw that it was Most Excellent.

Evening came and morning followed, the next day. And the day was like all the others: too long for adoring fans to wait in suspense.

...I realize I'm totally off the boat here - do we have a release date yet?

I was silly and didn't notice the vocal sampler until today. So I I would like to say that I am very very very much looking foward to hearing the full of this Jon Anderson song. And would also like to comment that I'm really glad that he did not sing on the Inconsolable Secret, but rather is singing on this one - I really can't imagine a place for him to fit in there, but wow, it sounds perfect here. However, I think I have currently exceeded exclamation point limits, so I'm going to state very calmly that that it's pretty friggin sweet, noting that it feels a bit of an understatement.

...I want my new album. *sniff*

Maybe for now I could hold out for a bit longer if I had a chorus of angels seranading me instead, but... I want my Glass Hammer.

Man I am absolutely in-love with the vocal sampler parts. Every time I hear Jon do the multi-vox section, I simply space out in the midst of all the awesomeness. If you guys have like more than one-million plays on that sampler before the end of this week, blame it on me. :P
