Must....resist...
Luke 6:27-31
27 "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. 30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.

Exactly. Not even a whole month left. I... must... resist!

But it was nice of you to put this up, all the same. :)

Well, I didn't ad lib it, so in that sense it was planned. BUT- what does that even mean :P

If someone brings up the Platonic forms again I will not be able to restrain myself from bursts of philosophy - my self control was all used up for that last mention. Rabid Philosopher on the loose - you've been warned.

Once you played the part, it changed reality, and it changed from the original conception. That would make, sort of, ad lib...

I couldn't resist... It is kind of different, and kind of the same. Its kind of not prog, and kind of prog... I thought I could hear some Bee-attles, and a little bit of Procol Harum, and... Can't wait for my signed copy to arrive!

You know... I've gotta say I love a lot of the ballad-esque stuff... it really brings back a lot of styles and feel of 'On To Evermore' and 'Perelandra'...

Did you guys ever sit back and just listen to how beautiful some of your older material is, and did it influence the writing for this album?

Not really (for me). Fred reminded me that there is a precedent for much of the album in parts of "Live and Revived"; and that "Sundown Shores" hearkens back to Perelandra - probably "Into The Night".
So I don't think we were intentionally influenced by older material - but a certain amount of that is probably inevitable, and perhaps more noticeable than we think. We'll see :)
