The "Making of Lex Rex" videos

Post by gojira » Fri Dec 27, 2002 1:57 pm

I really enjoyed the "Making of Lex Rex" videos. They provide a good insight into the recording of the CD, and a good preview of the music.

I especially like the shots of Susie and Sarah. How can Steve and Fred concentrate on music while these ladies are in the studio?

There's been one downside to these videos. Now, whenever I listen to "Tales of the Great Wars" on the CD, during the line "In the ranks he stands firm" I can't shake the image of Walter grabbing and shaking his man-boobs on the word "firm"! It totally detracts from the mood of the track. Thanks a lot!!

I was so hoping that no one would really notice that, or at least if they did that they wouldn't mention it! lol

Sorry, I have no self control. And several other Peter Gabriel songs.

Sorry. If it helps, I have found that repeated playings of the CD lessens the clarity of the mental image, as long as I don't play the video to reinforce it. (I still have to suppress a giggle every time I hear that line, though.)

Well, considering the effects it seems to be having on us - that might be best! lol

I think it's too late, the damage is done. Unless you have the capability to give us a remote memory wipe.

I'll be wearing my foil hat just in case.

I think it started with a comment about the making of LEX REX videos... and some one wanted me to use my "remote memory wipe device". Well it's broken so I won't use it.

I love all the videos. It's great to see how the album has been made. As I already said somewhere in the forum, I love all the technical stuff. I go crazy when I see all those synthesizers every where. Steve and Fred can play so many different instruments. I really don't understand how it's possible :?: I think Walter plays the guitar too right? It's also nice to see the GH girls too!

Hi, gojira here after a long absence.

Somebody sent me this link - http://zapatopi.net/afdb.html - and I remembered our weird little exchange of sci-fi strangeness. Thought you'd be interested in the latest news on beam deflection gear.

Could you just go to REAL player and say "open URL" or whatever? That's the only way they'll work for me...
