How's rehearsals going, Steve?
Boy, it's getting close! I'd better sort out some currency if I'm going to buy all that booze
We were at a Hayseed Dixie gig recently and I was chatting to the mandolin player. He tells me I need to try the baby back ribs when in Nashville so we're on the lookout for some good restaurants.
(Hayseed Dixie are a great act by the way)

Well, I spoke too soon about Walter. He wasn't able to make it to rehearsal today and that isn't a good sign.
But the rest of the band is in great shape - so far!

Walter needs some inspiration. May I suggest he sit down and watch VH1's Behind The Music segment about Metallica. Mere weeks after James Hetfield was injured during a concert, he was back singing during shows (with one arm wrapped up in bandages) while one of the band's roadies played his guitar parts.
Think positive, Walter! If that metalhead can do it, so can you!

I deleted some of the previous posts about Walter in this thread to keep from confusing anyone. We did think things were working out for him, but it looks like we'll be moving forward without him at present.
Carl Groves of Salem Hill fame will be taking over for now. He knows the material and has already had some rehearsals with us. Carl is a 'goodern' for doing this with GH. Please show him your support at the November 5th show!
