We better keep Ted away from these impressionable youth. He's a bad influence. :P

SO I was doing some research today on pricing for coming down tehre, and seeing GH and the orchestra perform.

I am planning on asking my mom, and my dad and his wife to chip in together for tickets, hotel and bus fare as my birthday present (the 7th)

GH tickets are $10, no sweat.

Hotel is $115.00?! sheesh...

The lord of the rings show looks like it will be around $53 for decent seats, but the layout is strange... they are performing in a basketball feildhouse type deal? I talked to a ticket agent for the Nashville orchestra, and he recommended not getting seats on the floor for hte sound- but if you look at the layout for the show: http://www.belmont.edu/curbeventcenter/ ... stageblank
you would have to turn in your seat an awful bit for anything but the seats on the floor... =/

That just leaves getting down there- if I take greyhound down, where is the depot? If I were to fly in, what are my options then?

I don't even know what I don't know!

Hey Flo, more details please!
Okay, here's the scoop:

I have a show booked for 8pm the night of the 5th at Curb Cafe' which is part of Belmont University. . I know that conflicts with the orchestra, but it was the only opening that worked.

I don't know if it was a joke or not, but I offered up my room at the Suites after the lord of the rings show.

OK, Brian, two very important (and possibly related) questions;

Does your suite have a TV?

How far from your window to the swimming pool?

La, La, La, Tum de dum...

P.S. I'm just kidding of course...

...I don't mind if the TV hits the sidewalk!

Greg and I will be there, but only going to the GH concert. Can't get to the conference due to work (would miss nearly all of it) and since I just had to buy a $3000 heat pump, the orchestra concert is beyond my pocketbook too. I can only swing the trip now coz I got roundtrip on Southwest for $126. Add in hotel and rental car ... well, it adds up. The timing of the heat pump sucked big-time, and it was on top of ... $200 plumber emergency, $818 dental crown, $450 at the vet, then a new faucet for the bathroom in the last 6 weeks ... well you get the idea.

I was glad we found an affordable hotel; $115 a night would have priced us right out of the trip.
