Live CD Poll

Post by MayorOfLongview » Sat Jul 22, 2006 10:28 am

Opinions?
This probably would not be a double cd. I think we'd skip the repeats from Live at Nearfest and pack the rest onto one disc?

Sounds great..!

So will we hear the new tracks live before the album comes out, or the other way around?

Yes I would welcome a CD of the up and coming show but personally I would be up for a DVD .
If this is not viable I will go with the flow and buy the next best thing :D

This is only about the audio from Live At Belmont. Not the Tivoli.
There's a poll at the top of the thread :)

That will teach me to read things through .
I will say that I have watched the DVD many times and if I feel the need to hear the gig I would spin the DVD and see it as well , twice the entertainment.

Eh, as nice as it would be to have a CD of the Belmont show- why not release a few tracks on iTunes only?

Like Heroes and Dragons!

I don't think it's a good idea. We already have the DVDs. You can just rip the DVD to get the audio... with Live at NF you actually have different music than the Lex Live DVD.

I would like to have a CD of the Belmont show. I'd pony up the bucks for live versions of Run Lisette and The Knight of the North. An official release! Oh yeah!! A double CD would be fine, too. You can play a cd most anywhere. Not everybody carrys around a portable DVD player and most people don't have DVD players in their cars. I'd rather buy an Official release than trying to rip a copy. Its cooler to have a real disc when you turn new people on to the 'Hammer'. Forget Itunes. I'd rather give you guys the bucks instead of feeding Apple's pocket.

Actually, our profit ratio for iTunes is great- no overhead at all. I wish more people would feed it... :D
