Sister in the Hospital

Post by Bnielsen » Sat May 01, 2010 8:28 pm

Hey y'all...

My 20 year old sister, Kelsey, had just come home after serving for 3 months in Uganda, Africa where she was working in an orphanage.

She is currently in the hospital diagnosed with a serious case of Malaria and strep throat.

This is on top of the strep throat and staph infection of the face she suffered while in Uganda.

I'd appreciate your thoughts and prayers for her if you could.

Thanks!

Man, that does not sound like fun. Ok, I'll pray for her!

Thanks all!

She is home from the hospital tonight - her red blood cell count is up dramatically! She's still pretty beat and out of it, but she's getting better all the time.

She was close to needing a blood transfusion at one point...
