NEARFest Again?

Post by Bnielsen » Wed Feb 09, 2011 7:26 am

Hey Fred, Steve, etc...

Have you guys ever gotten any whispers of an invite to come play NF again?

There's plenty of precedent for groups to return, especially after how well received you were back in '03

We would certainly consider it. Rob thought it might be possible, but he's not in charge now. On the down side - I emailed them last year just to see about getting a table for CDs and never got a reply. Did the same this year to let them know we had a new album and would love to play - never got a reply.
You'd think we'd rate a reply - but then I don't know the people who are running it now. Any ideas how we might make a connection?

Wow, that seems odd that they wouldn't get back to you about a table...

I've bumped heads with one of the persons now in charge of the fest, which is one of the reasons I didn't work there last year, but time heals all wounds.

I think your very best bet would be Jim Robinson, who I've known for years.
